i know fur coats are really pretty and all but, have you guys like ever seen how the fur was obtained?

well this investigator filmed this video on how they killed and skinned (alive, mind you) a racoon dog. in a chinese fur farm in (where else? china.) they whack the animals on the heads, then hang them up and peel the skin off the animal. most of the time, the animal isn't even dead, merely concussed. most animals hearts are still beating 5 to 10 mintues after their skin has been pulled off. in the video below is the process of the skinning, and a skinned racoon dog lifting it's bloodied head and looking into the camera.
